How to get a PIES Studio licence: create an account, start a free trial or buy a licence, install it, and renew it each year. Everything here is done in the licence portal at account.pies.io. The old address, license.pies.studio, redirects there.

On account.pies.io, create an account with your name, your work email and a password of at least 8 characters. No credit card is needed.
We email you a link to confirm your email address. The link is valid for 48 hours; if it has expired, use the Resend button on your account page. You must confirm your email address before you can start a trial or buy a licence.
From your account, enter your company name and start the trial. No card is needed.
You can convert the trial at any time with Convert to a full licence. The paid year starts on the day you buy; the remaining trial days are not added on. Your installation and data stay as they are — you just upload the new licence file.

Every licence includes PIES LLM private models, all code generators, the governance and compliance packs, Microsoft single sign-on, updates and support. There is no GPU add-on to buy.
You pay by card on Stripe Checkout. The licence is issued as soon as the payment is confirmed, and we email you the licence and a setup link.
Card purchases renew automatically each year. You can stop auto-renewal from your account and keep using the licence until its end date. Billing & invoices opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can update your card and download invoices.
Email sales@pies.io. We issue the licence against your purchase order or send you a Stripe invoice.
The setup link in your email is valid for 7 days; if it has expired, create a new one from your account. It gives you the licence file, pies_studio.license.
Then install exactly as the installation guide describes: download the deploy bundle, verify its checksum, put pies_studio.license next to install.sh, and run ./install.sh.
The server's CPU cores must not exceed the number your licence allows — see how the licence caps the CPU cores.
Licences that do not renew automatically get reminder emails 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before they expire. After a licence expires, PIES Studio goes into setup mode until a renewed licence file is uploaded in Administration → License.
To renew, choose Renew for a year in your account. You can change the CPU count at the same time. Then download the updated licence file and upload it in Administration → License.
For a server with no internet access, the offline package is supplied on request: email support@pies.io with your client ID.
